Off by one error
(This is one of those cryptic posts I find annoying on other blogs, in which the author exercises a shared secret known only to some of their readers.)

So, I should implement the trivial checks to avoid such errors, but I am grateful that on this occasion the direction of the error was in my favour.

There are some advantages to having made the error - though not, I suspect, enough to make up for having made it. Still, as you say, it sould have been worse. I still think you're wonderful - and so should anyone else whose opinion matters.

So, this was about me turning up one week early for an interview at Amazon. Doh!
